The Schuylerville Central School District art show will be held on Tuesday, May 9 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in all three school buildings. It’s the first year that the elementary, middle and high schools are having their art shows on the same night. In addition to combining the K-12 art program for this event, music ensembles from all three schools will be performing throughout the night.
“By holding the art shows all on the same evening, we’re hoping to draw more attention to high school artwork,” said Su Luke, high school art teacher. “Hundreds of people look forward to attending the elementary school art show each year and we’re hoping to draw that excitement to all three of our schools.”
High school students will be exhibiting many new and exciting projects this year, from a mannequin “trashion” show to staff member bean portrait and digital drawings created using their iPads.
