Co-curricular clubs thank local law enforcement

Several Schuylerville High School co-curricular clubs are showing their support and appreciation to members of the law enforcement community by participating in Law Enforcement Appreciation Day on Monday, Jan. 9.

Students and staff involved in French Club, Spanish Club, Future Farmers of America, Gay Straight Alliance, Environmental Club, and the Freshman Class wrote individual thank you cards to the 150 New York State Troopers that protect and serve Zone 2 of Troop G. Zone 2 is comprised of 12 stations; Wilton, Bolton Landing, Charlton, Chestertown, Clifton Park, Granville, Greenwich, Hadley, Queensbury, Saratoga, Schuylerville, and the Northway.

Those who participated would like to give a special thank you to Trooper S. Rothwein SR, Troop G School and Community Outreach Coordinator, for providing station assignments to make this project possible. On behalf of the students and staff of Schuylerville High School; Thank you for the sacrifices you make every day to ensure we live in a safe community and enjoy the freedoms that we have.
