The Class of 2023 Commencement Ceremony will be held on Thursday, June 22 at 7:00 p.m. at Black Horse Stadium. 

• Graduation ceremony rain dates: Friday, June 23 at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, June 24, time TBD
• Graduation rehearsal: Tuesday, June 20 at 11:30 a.m.
• Graduation award ceremony: Tuesday, June 20 at 6:30 p.m. (award recipients will be notified)

Each summer after graduation, district administration meets with the Board of Education to discuss the graduation ceremony, what went well, and what could be improved upon. It is our continued goal to make the district’s commencement ceremony a special experience for students and families. During this year’s discussion, the factor of weather was brought up. For the past three years, we have been fortunate enough to be able to have sunny days allowing us to keep the planned date of graduation. However, weather is always a concern in our minds in the days leading up to the event. Moving forward, a Thursday ceremony will allow us to build in plenty of flexibility with the graduation date, should the weather forecast become an issue.

Each student of the Class of 2023 will be provided with six graduation tickets assigned to a specific pod on the field. These will be for the six seats reserved for each family to attend the ceremony. There will be additional seating open for guests beyond the reserved pods, in addition to the visitor bleachers. We will send out pod placements in early June.

The district is proud and excited to be able to continue to host graduation on campus as a culminating event to students’ years at Schuylerville. We wish our Class of 2023 students and families a great, last year!
