Annual Fun Run to be held May 12

The Schuylerville Elementary School Annual Fundraiser has kicked off!   Please register your child on the FunRun link and start seeking pledges for your child’s fun run event to be held next week! Money raised by the FunRun goes directly back to the students and the school to support Arts in Education programs and assemblies, student clubs, “dollars for scholars” scholarship fund, and extra classroom supplies. In addition, last year’s FunRun raised enough to purchase the pendulum swing on the new playground, money to help beautify the elementary school courtyard, and a giant aquarium in the student services office.

The Fun Run will be held during special area classes on Thursday, May 12 (Cycle Day 2) at the Black Horse Stadium (turf/track).  The schedule is outlined below.  Classroom teachers will escort their students to and from the track to meet the special area teachers.  The rain date will be Friday, May 13 (Cycle Day 3).  This is not a family event, however we will be sure to capture the fun for all to view!

All students will participate in the fun run during special area class time with their respective special area teacher.  All special area teachers will record laps for students under their supervision.  Staff and students are encouraged to wear their fun run shirts for the event.

Thank you to PEP (Parents as Educational Partners) for your leadership with this terrific fundraiser, and thank you to parents/guardians, family members, and friends for your generous donations and support!
