Dear Schuylerville 8th grade families,

Please join us as we celebrate and say “farewell” to our Schuylerville Middle School 8th grade students!  We will have a “Farewell Reverse Parade” on Friday, June 12 beginning at 10:00 a.m. 8th-grade students should decorate their parent’s car and participate in the parade, which will take place on campus via the traffic loop. During the designated times listed below, middle school staff members will be outside waving goodbye and Mrs. Elsworth will give each student a gift bag of goodies. There will be a $100 grand prize winner for the best-decorated car that demonstrates the “most school spirit!” This will be announced at the end of a video we create and post after the event! 

Students should arrive during the time assigned by their last name:

• A-C at 10:00 a.m.
• D-H at 10:20 a.m.
• I-Q at 10:40 a.m. 
• R-Z at 11:00 a.m.

A few important details to note that ensure this is a fun and safe event:

• Parents and students will drive around the parking lot two times, stop for the goodie bag from Mrs. Elsworth and then exit the campus. 
• No student or parent should park their car and/or get out of the car. 
• Staff members will adhere to safety and social distance guidelines. 
• Please arrive only during your 20 minute assigned time slot to keep traffic under control.
