25th Annual Holiday Sing-Along

Schuylerville Elementary School held its 25th annual Holiday Sing-Along virtually this year, a tradition that would not be paused despite the pandemic! Elementary music teacher Christopher Tucker joined each classroom via Google Meets, performing various holiday songs in the same spirit as he has for years.

“Traditions are important,” said Mr. Tucker. “There are a lot of traditions we can’t do because of the situation we are in, but this is one thing we can do. It’s a little different, but we can still get together in spirit and enjoy it.”

Tucker used streaming software that allowed a pre-recording of the band to mix with his seven, live vocal performances.

“While it looked a bit different this year, we were able to keep all the fun and feels of this special event!” said Principal Rose Beckett.
