Order a Yearbook

Copies of the 2020 high school yearbook can be reserved in a pre-sale by clicking here. While yearbooks won’t be printed and distributed until June, the 128-page, full color books can be pre-ordered now.  In past years, yearbooks have sold out in June; pre-ordering a book guarantees you won’t have to worry about the limited quantities that will be for sale during lunch periods this spring.

Yearbooks are $57 each. The easiest way to order is online, but parents who would like to pay by check can write a check payable to SHS Yearbook. All checks should be delivered to Mr. Marvin in room 222. Any current senior who pre-orders a yearbook before March 1, 2020 will receive a free personalized nameplate for the cover.

Parent Ads

Parent Ads for seniors in the Class of 2020 are now working properly on Balfour.com and can be ordered as space allows through Feb. 28. Please note: we dedicate a limited number of yearbook pages to parent ads; the ads will be placed as they are submitted.

A basic tutorial of how to purchase and then edit a Parent Ad:

1. Go to https://www.balfour.com/ and search for Schuylerville HS
2.  Click on Yearbook Products and Ads  (the same place you go to pre-order the yearbook)
3. You should see choices for 1/8 page, 1/4 page, or 1/2 page ads
4. Complete the purchase of the ad – you should receive a message that in 24 hours an email will be sent to you and you will be able to begin building your ad
5. If for some reason you do not receive this email, you may create the ad by staying logging in to Balfour.com and clicking on “My Orders”
6.  Find your ad purchase under “My Orders” and click on “Edit”
7.  This brings you to the ad itself, where you can choose a layout style and drag it to the ad
8. After choosing a layout style, you can choose photos, background colors, and text

You may save your work as you go and then ultimately submit it when you are finished. This sends everything right to Mr. Marvin automatically. Any additional questions should be directed to Mr. Marvin at marvinr@schuylerville.org.
