Angel Rodriguez, a 10th grade student at Schuylerville High School, purchased the toys at a consignment event that she volunteered at with her mom. Rodriguez used the rewards she earned for volunteering to buy toys and supplies that she knew the students wanted, ranging from play tools and trains to a puppet theater.

“I was excited to help and give to others,” Rodriguez said.
