Spanish Club donates 170 books to NICUs

Schuylerville High School Spanish club members are helping to provide books to Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU) across the state. The club held a “bookraiser” from Jan. 17 to Feb. 14 to help support “Project: Cameron’s Story,” a nonprofit organization whose goal is to help parents with premature babies form a bond with their babies through the use of children’s literature and storytelling. The organization has donated nearly 100,000 books to 12 of the largest hospital in the state since 2009. Through its “bookraiser,” the Spanish club was able to donate 170 books that will be distributed to NICUs across the state. To learn more about Project: Cameron’s Story, click here.
