in more than 15 years

Did you know... |

You may apply for free and reduced meal program
any time during the year. |
|
Student qualification is confidential. When
students go through the lunch line, all meal
payments are handled exactly the same way—by
using an account and password/PIN. |
|
The number of households that have approved
free/reduced applications on file in the
district can positively effect the district’s
ability to receive certain grants and benefits
to help our students. |

For more than 15 years,
meal prices in Schuylerville Schools have remained the
same...all while food prices seem to rise significantly
each time families stop by the grocery store. Well, the
trend is catching up to schools and Schuylerville will
join many districts across the Capital Region and beyond
that are forced to raise student meal prices.
Beginning in September 2008, Elementary School
breakfasts will be $0.85 and lunches will be $1.50. At
the Jr.-Sr. High School, the price for lunches will be
$1.70.
Of course, free and reduced-price meals will continue to
be available. This is a confidential program available
to students from households that meet federal income
guidelines. Applications are available at each school
and are also mailed home to families over the summer
months. Click
