Hannaford awards $1,000 to Schuylerville Elementary
School
Hannaford recently awarded $1,000 to Schuylerville
Elementary School. The award recognizes the school's
participation in the Hannaford Dollars program.
"Schuylerville Elementary
School has received this distinction for seven years,"
comments Denise Zdobnikow, manager of customer service
at the Saratoga Springs Hannaford. "This year, 11
schools participated by asking parents and community
members to redeem 'Hannaford Dollars' by purchasing
specific products and turning in receipts. Schuylerville
redeemed the most with a total of $900."

As in previous years,
the Hannaford award will be used for equipment or
supplies that directly benefit children. "This year,
we're looking at the possibility of purchasing musical
instruments," says Schuylerville Elementary School
Principal Michael Mugits. "We're thankful to Hannaford
and to the parents and community members who continue to
support our schools through this program and other
initiatives. The school community should be proud of the
achievement." |
