At the Board of Education meeting on Monday, Nov. 14, Schuylerville High School math teacher Tyler Greene received a tenure appointment. Greene, who teaches Algebra 1 (Common Core) and Modified Algebra II, was introduced by Principal Matthew Sickles.
Greene is in his third full-year of teaching with the district. He previously was a substitute in several area schools, including Schuylerville. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a master’s degree in education through the combined program at Plattsburgh State. Greene also coaches three Schuylerville teams: JV boys soccer, JV boys basketball and JV boys baseball.
