High School math teacher receives tenure appointment

Tyler Greene and the Board of EducationAt the Board of Education meeting on Monday, Nov. 14, Schuylerville High School math teacher Tyler Greene received a tenure appointment. Greene, who teaches Algebra 1 (Common Core) and Modified Algebra II, was introduced by Principal Matthew Sickles.

Greene is in his third full-year of teaching with the district. He previously was a substitute in several area schools, including Schuylerville. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a master’s degree in education through the combined program at Plattsburgh State. Greene also coaches three Schuylerville teams: JV boys soccer, JV boys basketball and JV boys baseball.
