Healthy Minds & Bodies
One
of the most important ways in which schools can help your
children perform better in classrooms is to provide them
with the nutrition necessary for healthy minds and
bodies. To that end, Schuylerville Central School District
provides breakfast and lunch in the Elementary School and
lunch in the Jr.-Sr. High School.
On average, the district serves more
than 200,000 meals each school year. |

-
Elementary School
Breakfast
— $0.85
-

Computerized Meal Accounts
Schuylerville students are invited to take advantage of
the district's computerized account system for purchasing
and paying for meals. Under this system, parents can
deposit money into their child's account. Students then
enter their Personal Identification Number (PIN) when they
go through the meal line. The cost of the meal is
automatically deducted from the account.
There are several advantages to
this computerized system:
-
Parents do not have to send cash
to school on a daily basis.
-
Parents are assured that the
money is spent on food at school.
-
The check sent is a record of
deposits into the meal accounts. The district can also
print an activity report on any child's account.
Checks for student meal accounts
should be made out to SCS Food Service and should include
the student's PIN. For more information, contact Food
Services Manager Kristy Wilbur at 695-3255, ext. 2290.
