Elementary school students raise $4,465 for Ronald McDonald House

Schuylerville Elementary School students used their reading skills to help raise more than $4,400 for the Albany Ronald McDonald House. More than 50 students participated in the “Read for Ronald McDonald House” program to help seriously ill children and their families. Students asked family and friends to sponsor them for every minute they read during the month of March.

“We are very proud of the number of students who decided to participate,” said school counselor Cassandra Luthringer. “That number, along with the total amount raised, is a true representation of the caring community we live in.”

All student participants will receive a personalized participation certificate.
