Distance Learning

The distance learning program uses live videoconferencing technology to make it possible for schools to both deliver and receive classes. Schuylerville has three distance learning classrooms which offer more than a dozen classes that students normally would not have the option to take because of low enrollment in the district.

Schuylerville teachers offer Digital Photography, Equine Studies, Introduction to Agriculture, Journalism and The Short Story on the distance learning network, meaning both Schuylerville students and pupils from other schools can take these elective classes. Electives hosted by other schools and received here at Schuylerville include:

  • Agricultural Business (SUNY Cobleskill)
  • AP Psychology
  • AP Economics
  • Astronomy
