Three students honored for their community service
While Schuylerville students as a group are known for
their community service efforts, three in
particular—Morgan Sullivan, Meaghan Lagoe and Amy
Baker—have been recognized by the Schuylerville Board of
Education for going above and beyond in their volunteer
activities.
In addition, Morgan was honored by the Saratoga County
School Boards Association for her efforts. She has

Meaghan’s volunteer activities include work for a
mentoring program, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the
Heifer Project, the American Cancer Society’s Relay for
Life and the district’s sixth grade orientation program.
She has also volunteered at her church, teaching Sunday
school, singing in a choir and helping with dinners.
Amy, too, makes the district proud with her community
service work. She has dedicated her time to the American
Heart Association, the National Kidney Foundation, Earth
Day clean-up efforts, the American Cancer Society,
Rebuilding Together Saratoga County, tsunami relief,
along with tutoring her fellow students.
