Buffalo a capella group to work and perform with Schuylerville choral students

Schuylerville choral students will have the chance to work and perform with a university a capella group on Wednesday, Jan. 25. The Enchords, an a capella group from the University at Buffalo will be visiting the district to host several workshops during the school day. The group, led by Schuylerville graduate Tayler Dooley, will then perform a concert at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium. The Schuylerville High School Vocal Ensemble will also perform a few songs. Tickets are not needed for the concert, but a $5 donation is suggested. All of the proceeds will go to the Schuylerville Drama Club.

The Enchords

A Capella is music made only with the voice, and The Enchords sing old favorites and fresh new music, adding some dance moves. Founded in 2013, The Enchords sing in venues across the state, perform public and private concerts, and conduct vocal workshops in middle and high schools.
