Plenty of smiles accompanied the shiny sneakers,
backpacks and lunchboxes as students and staff excitedly made their way
onto campus to start the 2012-2013 school year. Many transitions
accompanied the day, as kindergartners and freshman entered major new
phases in their lives. Students in grades 6-8 also earned new status
(along with their teachers!) as the district opened its middle school.
Even with all the changes, opening day ran extremely smoothly and
everyone quickly settled into their new routines.
