Senior Sarah Anderson chosen for DAR Good Citizen Award

Schuylerville Jr-Sr. High School has selected Sarah
Anderson to receive the Willard Mountain chapter of the Daughters of the
American Revolution Good Citizen Award.
Sarah was selected for this award by exemplifying dependability,
leadership, service and patriotism.
She is a member of Book Club, Photography Club and Select Chorus. An
active participant in several sports programs, Sarah transitioned from
Modified Wrestling to Varsity Wrestling in eighth-grade, continuing on
through her senior year. She also played Junior Varsity Field Hockey as
a freshman and played Varsity Lacrosse and Soccer for all four years of
high school, including five years as a youth wrestling volunteer and
assistant coach.
Sarah’s community service activities stretch
throughout Saratoga County. She also volunteered with the football
concession and as a mentor to new students entering the high school.
Sarah is the daughter of Buck and Rhonda Anderson.
